Basant Panchmi is an occasion which marks the onset of the ‘Spring Season’. It is also celebrated to worship Goddess Saraswati, the symbol of knowledge and wisdom.

To mark the occasion, the children will dressed in yellow clothes, offered yellow coloured flowers to the Goddess and also bring yellow coloured snacks to share with each other.

A special assembly will be held on that day. It starts with the children and teachers singing the ‘Saraswati Vandana’. Which will be followed by a presentation on the various aspects of the festival. Children will carry their books with them to attain the blessings of ‘Maa Saraswati’. They  will also learn about the importance of showing respect to books as they are repositories of wisdom and knowledge.

The assembly will be start with an inspirational song which will sing by the staff and students.
